I would highly recommend MKZ Construction. I hired MKZ to remove the popcorn ceilings in my upstairs and replace with knock down. Max was always on time, great to communicate with and did exactly as he said, and showed up when he said they would. The crew were all very friendly and I was happy to have them in my home. I will be using them again to do the same on my main floor.

MKZ (Max and his crew) are the best contractors we have ever worked with! They are so professional, polite, courteous and do absolutely amazing work. We have used MKZ for two phases of our renovations and they have been the best and easiest contractor to work with hands down. Max communicates in writing, clearly and is very responsive. If an item comes up (as they do during renovations) it is communicated and put into a change order for approval. Max and his crew are simply the best and I would recommend MKZ to anyone looking for drywall work!

My basement ceilings needed refinishing after I removed popcorn texture which was in rough shape. I called MKZ Construction and Max promptly arrived later that day. He was courteous, thorough and I was impressed with his attention to detail. I orginally wanted a knockdown texture but decided to go with flat ceiling which Max and his team were accommodating. From start to finish including painting, Max''s team kept me in the loop, were on schedule and went the extra mile. Max and his team are professionals, and it shows! We brought MKZ into our house to finish the ceiling on our main floor, after we removed our popcorn/stipple that had been up for decades. The drywall tapers/plaster team were professional and courteous, and they did a great job, and did a very throrough clean up afterwards. The painter was also fantastic! Finished product looks great - flat white ceiling, as we've wanted for many years.

Max and his team provided us with a very competitive quote, his installers were nice guys who showed up on time and did a great job installing the drywall. Big Max did an amazing job finishing the drywall and he kept me informed everyday of the progress and what was going to be done the next day. I can not say enough positive comments about working with Big Max! We also had MKZ do the primer coat, and the painter was a very good guy as well, showed up on time and did excellent work. MKZ is the best contractor I have ever used for drywall installation and finishing and I would highly recommend them for your drywall needs. Hired MKZ for replacing ceiling, mudding and taping of 3 skylights. I’d like to first mention the level of transparency, communication, and responsiveness- 10/10 from the first conversation to closing out the bill. Quality of work 10/10- incredible attention to detail. The guys taped off each area incredibly well to contain the mess and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Showed up on time, pleasant to talk with, and did exactly what they said the would. My final bill was less than my estimate. That never happens! Anyways, 10/10 recommend
